I used to LOVE scavenger hunts when I was little. When I found this idea on Pinterest (my new obsession!) I thought it would be a great outdoor activity for Peyton and I. You start by finding an empty egg carton and coloring the bottom of each bowl a different color of the rainbow, or any colors you choose. Then they can go on a scavenger hunt outside to fill the bowls with items that match each color. It's amazing to me how much fun your kids can have with something homemade and completely free! Peyton had a blast collecting her little trinkets and we got some much needed fresh air in today's beautiful weather.
