Peyton's last dose of her blood pressure medication was today!!!!! This is so exciting for us. We are starting to see some big milestones in her recovery. Her battle with H.U.S resulted in her having consistent high blood pressure which is very common for H.U.S. patients. We were told the average patient is on hypertension medication for 6 months. So we were thrilled when Peyton's blood pressure started normalizing almost immediately and by 4 months was reading consistently normal. So by by yucky syrup. She is still on her seizure medication but we are hoping to start weaning her with in the next month. What a blessing!!!
