Last week my grandma, the girls, and I checked out our local museum. The kids loved it and there was plenty to keep kids of all ages busy.
They had numerous crafts for them to do. Here Peyton is using bubble wrap to imitate the scaly skin of a reptile.

They also had live exhibits which were my favorite. In the mine the girls were able to pan for gold, earn money for the weight they gathered and trade it in a the country store. So clever and educational.
Here they are getting their weight approved and stamped.
Trading cash for green tea. I thought this was kind of odd personally. I mean what kid wants a bag of ancient green tea? Next time we'll just keep the dollar.
