We started our trip in Bend with a visit to the local Pumpkin Patch. When we arrived, the first thing Peyton wanted to do was ride the ponies. I have never seen that girl so giddy! From the moment she was put on Scooter she was giggling and smiling and saying "go horsey go....go"! When the ride was over it was hard to pull her away to do anything else. After I promised her she could ride them again, and bribed her with a lollipop, she finally agreed to go on the train ride which was next on our list. Peyton chose to sit in the Zebra car of course. They took us on a tour of the farm, showed us all the attractions and booths they had, then ended the ride by riding over a grated bridge. They told all the kids to scream while they rode over it...Peyton loved that...Gwen not so much! After the train ride, since we stopped right by the pony wheel, Peyton was quick to remind me she wanted another ride. Again, she was absolutely ecstatic. We then had a yummy lunch and their famous funnel cake and kettle corn. We toted the girls around in the wagon my mom had bought last time we were in town, which worked out great. Gwen was hilarious! She loved bouncing around in the thing and thought sitting with her sister was pretty cool. She couldn't help but hold on to Peyton shirt though because she was bouncing so much. It was pretty comical. Last on the list was a carriage ride driven by Clydesdale horses. Peyton was asked to sit up front and help steer the them which she loved! Later she was able to feed, pet, and kiss their noses!! I haven't seen the girls have this much fun in so long. It was great and I am so glad the girls had a blast together.
