Two wonderful ladies from my church came up with a great idea and created an amazing website called Homebased Portland. A place where they share the top local places here in Oregon to see, eat, and play. I am in love!!! Often I sit at home trying to think of something new and fun to do with Peyton and even though I have lived in Portland all my life (minus 2 years) and should know all the places that would be yummy and entertaining, my mind always draws a total blank. I mean yes we have a wonderful Zoo and OMSI but you can only pet goats and do funny experiments that make your hair stand up so many times. Plus its expensive. So we sit at home day after day stacking lagos and reading 1, 2, 3 books. Not anymore. Here is a little background info about the new website:
Leigh Anne and Meg are both moms, wives and homebased business owners. Meg is the mother of two adorable, energetic preschoolers and Leigh Anne is quickly approaching the empty nest season of life. While in different chapters of motherhood they still have a lot in common.
They both love being moms!
They love spending time with their children, finding new places to explore and creating memorable experiences for their family. Oh yeah – and they both love good food! They also love living in Portland and agree that Oregon is one of the most beautiful places to live and explore!
They have combined their love of family, discovering new places, enjoying good food and Oregon into a fun new website – Homebased Portland. A place where they share the top local places to - see – eat – play!
